Help us keep firefighters safe.
Jersey City Firefighters responded to over 15,000 calls for service in 2023. Your generous contribution to the Jersey City Fire Foundation can assist us in purchasing items such as firefighting hoods that reduce 99.3% of cancer-causing smoke from contacting a firefighter's neck and head, life-saving rope equipment, and state-of-the-art back boards that are designed to remove an injured firefighter from a burning building quickly and efficiently. Your support will enhance the safety of our firefighters.
In addition to purchasing life-saving equipment, our Foundation also raises funds to support innovative training programs and equipment for the Jersey City Fire Department that would not otherwise be achievable through available public funding. We work to develop partnerships within the community to provide the resources necessary to ensure on-going support for the Foundation's mission.
Our Mission
The Jersey City Fire Foundation was established in 2006 and is the only authorized non-profit 501(c)3 that supports the men and women firefighters of the Jersey City Fire Department. The Jersey City Fire Foundation's all volunteer board receives no compensation; every dollar raised goes back to programs that support our firefighters.
